Oct 1, 2017 - Indigenous Democracy Defense Organization Provides Training for Embera Tribal Nation
SEPTEMBER 14-20 2017 – CENTRAL AMERICA
INDIGENOUS DEMOCRACY DEFENSE ORGANIZATION (IDDO) FOREIGN LEGION – CONTINUING ITS LONG TERM COMMITMENT TO TRAINING ITS LOYAL ALLIES IN THE EMBERA TRIBAL NATION HOW TO DEFEND THEMSELVES IN THE PRESENT ERA
Embera children were given a scenario whereby they had only themselves to depend on to protect their tribe (as if the adults were all dead or had fled and abandoned them in a war..what are you going to do – you must learn to defend yourselves and survive, or you must expect to be attacked and die – I told them), they had to learn to work together as a unified mixed gender age varied ‘child platoon’, to fight barefooted in their normal clothes with handguns & rifles, close range, and long range, in the mud shooting upwards, on rocky hilltops shooting downwards, soaking wet in the rain, or hot and dry in the merciless sunshine, etc, some of these kids have become deadly accurate snipers (like the boy in the red shirt), the future of the tribe’s ability to defend itself will no longer be in doubt when IDDO is finished training them.
Training & weapons costs are being funded personally by IDDO Chairman Damon Gerard Corrie, who was assisted by his second son Tecumseh Corrie (A Pakuri Territory in Guyana born Lokono-Arawak).
Now ask yourself…what is YOUR ‘Indigenous Rights’ NGO doing to prepare YOU for a worst case scenario in an increasingly militarized and dangerous world..still writing protest letters (and other trivial pursuits) to politicians and organizing street marches and prayerful sit-ins ? Yeah – because that sort of training will REALLY help you in a worst case scenario to save your life…(deep sarcasm).
We are UNIQUE in the Global Indigenous Rights Arena in the IDDO. We train native peoples to be prepared to face ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
