May 16, 2018 - The Bad Face Consulting Podcast Set to Debut
The Bad Face Consulting Podcast to debut with Chase Iron Eyes Interview.
PINE RIDGE –Bad Face Consulting has announced that Chase Iron Eyes will be the featured guest on the first ever episode of The Bad Face Consulting Podcast.
Iron Eyes is an American Indian activist, attorney, politician, and a citizen of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation. He is a member of the Lakota People’s Law Project and a co-founder of the Native American news website Last Real Indians. Chase was one of the first people to give some of Bad Face Consulting’s staff an opportunity to publish their work.
“We have a network of influencers and change-makers that only we can tap in to. We plan on making this show unlike anything ever produced in Indian Country,” said Bad Face Consulting founder, Brandon Ecoffey.

The show is set to debut on June 4, 2018, and will feature hip-hop music from Native artists, while serving as a national platform from which Native issues can be discussed.
“There are so many difficult topics in Indian Country that are not receiving the attention they deserve from the mainstream media. Those that are being covered, are being done so without the inclusion of the views of the people living on reservations. This podcast will amplify the reach of our people’s voices,” added Ecoffey.
While the entire guest list has not been made public, the show’s producers say that subject matter will include: Native Hip-hop, controversies in the world of Language Revitalization, South Dakota’s failures to adhere to the Indian Child Welfare Act, marijuana legalization in Indian Country, and more.
Ray Rowland (Oglala Lakota), cohost of the show, says that he envisions the podcast assisting upcoming artists with their efforts to distribute their music.
“There is a whole lot of talent that isn’t getting the play they deserve on the radio. We are gonna sort through the rift-raft and play some of those gems that are out there,” said Rowland.
The show promises to provide an informed and honest take on topics other outlets refuse to touch.
“While I respect the work of our national Native media outlets, there is only so much you can do when you are protecting a brand. Our team’s work in the field, and our involvement with our communities, allows us the space to provide commentary on these issues,” said Ecoffey.
The podcast already has several powerful tribal-organizations sponsoring the show. A limited amount of sponsorships are still available but are going fast.
