Indigenous Lokono-Arawak family in Guyana continue to have their rights openly violated

Sadly, there is no true justice for all of Guyana's Amerindians s long as Pauline Sukhai is the Minister of Amerindian Affairs, only her friends and 'donors' benefit from her position.

The question then becomes - what kind of low moral caliber corrupt national disgrace to the country - kind of 'Minister' does the President of Guyana have employed in his country? After running a 'new Guyana free of corruption' political election campaign?

A National Police Force Investigation needs to be launched to reveal the truths in this case that the Minister is hiding or deliberately ignoring, just as a previous Police investigation revealed bribery occurring in her office - which was public news in Guyana (read it here: https://guyanachronicle.com/.../permanent-secretary.../- however, the case was later dismissed because the guilty parties intimidated the victim to drop charges - because that is how things are done in this country).

The current Minister of Amerindian Affairs is once again scandalously violating the very 2006 Amerindian Act that she is supposed to uphold and protect, and she is illegally vetoing the previous legally binding 2021 final tribal community vote in this case which was resoundingly in favor (by almost 80%) of the Simon famiy victms of an illegal sale orchestrated by another low-level Government employee Mr Pierre Andrews and the white American non-Amerindian foreigner widower of the Simon family daughter who had rights (as a local indigenous person and family member) as co-owner with her siblings. Now the Minister is rendering her own decision that will benefit her friends - the land thieves, Abed and Margaret Hussein.

On 4th October 2022 the Minister had a private meeting in St Cuthberts Mission/Pakuri Territory where she only allowed the Village Council and 3 of the victimized Simon family members to participate, they were NOT allowed to give their full side of the story as the Minister kept interrupting them and repeating herself - and praising her Hussein family friends who are trying to illegally acquire the Simon family land - talking ad nauseum about how 'good' the Hussein family (friends of the Minister) who illegally purchased the Simon family land in Violation of the Amerindian Act - are, and giving the Simon family an ultimatum that the Simon family must agree in 7 days (by 12 October) to give half of their own family land to the Hussein family who illegally purchased their sister's house behind the previous Councils back (only 2 Council members out of the full 12 - did the dirty deed in secret) in the first place - land that their parents toiled for over 50 years to farm - and their sisters white American evangelist so-called 'loving husband' William Nobles - evicted his own crippled mother-in-law AND his own East Indian adopted daughter Adora AND his wife's sister and now Miss Teen India Guyana reigning beauty Queen neice Roshani Razaak from in 2021.

The Minister claimed the Simon family had 'no proof' it was their land, EVEN THOUGH any genuine investigation trying to find the TRUTH merely asked ALL the still living previous Toshaus (Chiefs) whether the land indeed belonged to the Simon family or not for over 50 years - would have easily revealed this to be true, ask ex-Tousha Clifford Shuman, ask ex-Toshau Leyland Clenkian, ask ex-Toshau Michael Simon etc - they are ALL still alive and can attest to renewing the land titles to the Simon family all these 50 years. But no, in her ignorance - because she does NOT want to know the truth - she only wants to help her friends break the law - she refused to even do that simple basic investigative work, she could ALSO simply ask ALL the house owners of ALL the areas surrounding the Simon family land on St. Cuthberts Mission/Pakuri - from Barishana landing to Wisibini, and Coal pit, etc.

Abed Hussein is a well-known BULLY in the community, Abed has a violent temper and threatens to beat up or kill everyone who opposes him, he even has fired off shots from his unlicensed pistol and even beaten localyoung men with it, and when Police get involved he pays off the Police or the victims family to drop charges, and he and his wife Margaret are the greediest people for land in the community, they took over Ian Shumans 25 acres of land on Taylor Creek, and they took over even their own family member uncle Samuel Bernard's land (thats why some of their own family members have nothing to do with them anymore) that was next to their land plot in the village center, in the 2nd International News Article you can read via the link below you can see how Abed Hussein - in his customary uneducated ignorant violent way - even said publicly in front of hundreds of villagers in the Village General Meeting - when the Toshao (Chief) told him he will have to move the house he illegally acquired OFF the Simon family land - Abed shouted 'No-one can make me move', and the Chief is the highest legal authority in our village! So you can just imagine what kind of ignorant brute we are dealing with.

The Minister in her bold-faced bullying way even told the Simon family their only other choice if they don't accept her (the MINISTERS) decision (which completely ignores the decision of the democratic majority ofvillagers who votes already since 2021 that the Simon family should get their land restored because it was acquired ILLEGALLY by the MInisters friends) is to take it to the Law Courts 'which will end up back at me' she said arrogantly. As if trying to deceive and intimidate them that she (the mere Minister of Amerindian affairs) IS the highest authority in Guyana even above the High Court - so she - The minister - can do any illegal thing she wants, including having her own husband operate illegal mining operations on Amerindian lands in defiance of the Amerindian communities who are opposing it.

ALL previous living Ministers of this Ministry in Guyana, have said privately that Sukhai is in total violation of the 2006 Amerindian Act by all her actions in this matter, her job is to abide by the will of the democratic majority of the tribal community, not veto it and act like a dictator. The worst part of all of this, is that the President of Guyana Ifran Ali, is turning a blind eye to the crimes of his own Minister, instead of saving the country further scandal and embarrassment - by simply replacing the very unpopular and scandal ridden Sukhai as Minister - with someone who is actually capable of doing her job with honesty and integrity.

Everyone in the world truly thought that President Ali stood out as a shining beacon for TRUTH and JUSTICE in a new more prosperous Guyana, but the fact that he is tolerating this corrupt woman to be the mascot to fool the world that Guyana's Amerindians have an honest and sincere Minister - is the biggest HOAX of all, she is not fit to wipe the dirt off of the previous Minister Sidney Allicocks shoes. He had NO scandals associated with his name NOR was he ever using his authority to BULLY or INTIMIDATE anyone NOR did he ever violate the Amerindian Act and create decisions to suit himself and his friend's interests - nor did he ever have his employees accept bribes on his behalf so he could pretend that he was not guilty if anything was discovered, BRING BACK SIDNEY ALLICOCK or CAROLYN RODRIGUES - she was also popular and a superior Minister to Sukhai in every way imaginable.

Pauline Sukhai remaining as the pretend 'Minister of Amerindian Affairs' only serves to show the outside world that 'Indigenous Rights' are only a political PR slogan in Guyana, but in reality if Indigenous Rights were a genuine top priority in Guyana - there is no way that Paulike Sukhai could get away with all the corruption she is doing, her top priority is to enrich herself by using her political role and access to powerful friends who condone her activities by their silence.

THE TRUE LEGAL REALITY OF THIS CASE IS THIS:

It is true that the courts are highly likely (and may very well) to refer land disputes within a Village to the Minister for mediation and possible settlement IF the community has NOT already reached a decision (in this case the Community DID already reach a decision since over a year ago in 2021 - but the Minister did not like that decision). It has happened before.

HOWEVER - What is also true is that the overruling of a decision made by more than two-thirds majority of community resident attendees by anyone is unlawful, and over 2/3 of the community voters did already stand up for TRUTH and JUSTICE and they voted in favor of the Simon family victims against the Hussein family victimisers - the Ministers good friends.

Legal proceedings with respect to that occurrence can be filed against the Minister, it just depends on whether her political 'protectors' pressure the High Court judge to act in a corrupt way to defend a corrupt acting Minister ad ruling party member, as THAT can happen too.

IF we could have depended on TRUTH and JUSTICE to prevail in the Guyana legal system - without the customary political interference and obstruction - the Minister would be discredited - and if perchance any court decides to refer the land dispute to the Minister for resolution, her prejudicial position and unlawful action early up in the matter as a friend and supporter of the land thieves in the first place. can be cited I would seek and be successful in securing a decision that she is, therefore, in a position of 'conflict of interest' and cannot treat the matter in any unbiased way at all. But most people have LITTLE faith in the Guyana High Court system (based on ALL the political subterfuge there), so this case will instead be taken to the OAS Inter-American Court of Human Rights as 'Simon family VS Guyana's Minister of Amerindian Affairs' - and shine an INTERNATIONAL spotlight on the Minister and ALL her underhand and disgraceful activities in this matter.
