Seattle, WA, April 9, 2016– Nooksack 306 and Chad Charlie announce their benefit concert at 88 Keys Dualing Pianos and Sports Bar.

This event is not only about raising funds to battle this fight, but it is to assist in putting an end to a modern form of cultural genocide.” – Chad Charlie, Entertainer

In respect to large outpourings of support for the Nooksack 306, the recent targets of intentions to be disenrolled from their respective tribe, Chad Charlie has teamed up with a variety of performers to raise funds for legal fees towards their dispute in court. Tickets can be found at Brown Paper Tickets online (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2530399) and at the door, where all proceeds of this event will go towards the Nooksack 306 legal fees.

The family continues to battle in court to stop disenrollment and we are teaming up to continue to fundraise and support or friends’ financial needs during this time of attempted genocide.” – Calina Lawrence, Performing Artist

Chad Charlie is a distinguished Comedian, Inspirational Poet, and Motivational Speaker who assists in coordinating multiple events featuring artists in the Native American community. He has appeared at the World Famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood, features at Seattle’s Comedy Underground, and multiple Native events throughout the United States and Canada.
