May 5, 2018 - Wind River Inter-Tribal Council Proclaims May 5th Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Day

The Wind River Inter-Tribal Council passed a resolution proclaiming May 5th as Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Day. The resolution directs the community to “commemorate the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls” and to, “demonstrate solidarity with the families of the victims.”
