BREAKING: Nooksack 306 and Idle No More to Protest Law Firm Representing Chairman Bob Kelly

Members of the Nooksack 306, tribal members targeted for disenrollment, and Idle No More plan a march and rally today in Seattle at the law firm Morisset, Schlosser, & Jozwiak who are representing Nooksack Chairman Bob Kelly, who is pushing for the disenrollment.

306 members of the Nooksack tribe are currently facing loss of tribal membership which would include the loss of their housing, medical and fishing rights that go with it.  Last March they received a letter telling them they were being disenrolled from the tribe.  With the help of their lawyer, Gabe Galanda, the Nooksack 306 have been actively fighting the disenrollment since receiving the letter.
